Tonal Notions of Tangle Wood - From the coastal and inland paths of Noosa National Park, there is an abundance of natural charm. The undergrowth beneath the tall trees is a plethora of ground cover, from scrub grasses, varieties of banksia, shrubs, palms and everything in between. With beauty in the greater scenic view, but when focusing in, on individual structures, shapes, markings and patterns there is a sense of intrigue with a visual beauty. Using intuitive mental notes I make from exploring this area and the landscape, these details, intricacies and often irregular forms flow and work together with a serene earthy tonal palette. This artwork is a modern contemporary semi abstract impression, with forms and marks gesturing the natural world.
