• The above image of Tonto Conejo I created in mid-2014 shows him riding his horse named Scout, a spotted palomino. This time Tonto's without his trademark feather-adorned headband, and his backpack of bow and arrows. I drew him with no ammunition to remind us that the U.S. southwest has been peaceful, with no more hateful cowboys and Indians trying to kill each other. Just like in many parts of the world today, people refuse to follow the Golden Rule; and often they meddle in the affairs of others, like some superpowers who want to introduce to others their own lifestyles, beliefs, forms of government, and religious values. • The above image is a modified version of the other Tonto images featured in this Website, with different backgrounds and storylines. • By applying multi-media techniques and tools, I had achieved: (1) The 3-D effects on the main image and its elements; (2) The right transition between the background colors; and (3) The Different textures for better abstract appeal. • Even though I do abstracts mainly as a hobby and therapy while I manage people's wealth, I continue to keep updated on new styles, tools and techniques to improve my artwork. • I should also note that as an emerging artist, I believe that the true beauty and value of an art should be based on how viewers enjoy looking at the art, and not because it was done by someone who's already gone.
