Top hats, is a large oil painting on canvas from my Crowd collection although I have lots of influences from famous artist such as Picasso I really want to develop my own style. Top hats is a row of faces all wearing top hats and as in all my painting all have a story to tell, but you will never really know what that story is, but you can speculate. I love painting people, but I don’t want to just paint portraits, I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them I want them to be special. I love experimenting with the soft colours, I love the form they take, I love the beauty, the feeling, the glow it generates, I try to capture that glow with every brush or knife stroke, but above all I wanted “Top hats” to look comfortable ageless, of indeterminate origin or nationality, but above all at ease with themselves. To me the most important thing is my reputation I want a trusted brand, I want my collectors to know, I will always put them first. I used to think I was lucky, I’ve had some amazing reviews, but that comes with hard work, I want to exceed people’s expectations. As a successful full-time artist I have been selling my art for over 6 years, my art is hanging on walls in private collections in 13 different countries, I’m very proud of that. I’ve had an exhibition but the best exhibition of all………those of my paintings hanging on walls at homes, offices and hotels of my valued clients. Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
