What's in a name: I have noticed at many of my art exhibitions that people find my artworks are very easy to engage in conversation with. I named this painting Transcommunication for two reasons: 1) It has led to some very interesting conversations with art lovers and how they interpret it from sight and touch. Yes, people like touching my artworks and they do it all the time due to the textual quality. This is why I always add a heavy varnish protective coat. 2) In this day and age we find ourselves shortening everything. But as a calligrapher one of the biggest joys with writing is long words.
