About The Artwork

This painting is made up of many colorful layers. The starting point is energy and movement and the preservation of beautiful things (treasure) in a hectic world / society. The pose can be a pose of fleeing, dancing or running. It is in any case an attitude of movement in an abstract way. The pleasure of working with layers, colors and structures is also essential for me. The result surprises me too, because I let my mood and movement of the paint be guided by the energy of that moment. I have also worked with flowing wet paint and paint splatters that find their own way on the linen canvas. I use the colors white, soft yellow and blue in different shades to indicate light and shadow. Please watch the youtube video about this work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeZx5WmfaLU

Artist ART Eva Maria -------------------------------------- SOURCE OF INSPIRATION "Looking at people's faces and trying to figure out how they feel and what they think - that is my source of inspiration. This mysterious aspect fascinates me. Afterwards I will tell my own story - in colours and lines - about these people using various visual tools." -------------------------------------- I see nature (both landscapes and faces) as a gift that shows itself to me. I'm trying to catch the feeling that's inside of me, while being an observator. -------------------------------------- Showing the reality is not important, it's my personal impression and emotion that I wish to communicate. This is a very intuitive process during which my hand glides on paper or canvas. This way I am able to tell my own story in layers, colours and lines. Afterwards the art is not mine anymore and open to other people's eyes, making new stories as well. I'm always searching for new ways for my art (small to large sizes, different techniques) to travel and show themselves to public.
