Tree Bark and Fireflies Painting

|| A Visual Diary || Angelika's art reflects experiences and feelings that influence her in large and small ways every day. Art tells a story with chapters reflecting people and events around us at a specific time our life. Art making has been part of Angelika's life since early childhood watching her dad create linoleum cut prints and her mom doing drawings of nature. She has studied and taught art for many years in different locations worldwide. Oil and/or mixed media is her favourite media for painting. She enjoys the slow drying process of oil paints that gives her the freedom to create layers and depth that suites her expressive ideas. When creating sculptures, Angelika uses traditional low-fire clay for hand-built sculptures.
