Ronnie Némorin is a French artist born in 1969 in Paris, lives and works in the Paris region. Self-taught, Ronnie travels through his paintings with small touches, traits and signs that take shape, journeys according to the artist where he likes to draw and paint the present moment. "Ronnie Némorin’s paintings oscillate between figuration and abstraction. The artist sketches succinctly, on canvas and paper, hands, feet, breasts, looks of faces, animal heads or sometimes objects, which blend quickly into a multicoloured amalgam. His painting is spontaneous and direct, gestural and instinctive. Ronnie Némorin produces a raw, pure art, devoid of any cultural and figurative mimicry. He’s in a constant plastic search. In his work, the material is often rich and tactile, pastel’s impingement in places, thick acrylic casts to others, torn paper collages, cardboard or stained foam. The painter scratches, scratches and pumps to then take back his brushes and freely multiply on the canvas shapes, lines and colors. Failure to control, letting go of its plastic boldness such could be the leitmotif of Ronnie Némorin whose intuitive art celebrates life, bright and unexpected." Texte d 'Astrid LOUARN
