ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This was created during one of many long dark nights in the far north. It was not intended to be a northern lights painting however I wanted to capture the magical mood of it. My use of strong color is characteristic of most of my works. It's hard to give into the darkness when there is so much color. It is rather whimsical by intention.
