The artist is very inspired by nature and a feeling of contemplation. Far away from realistic world, from cities, from people, she creates an imaginary world where one can meditate and connect with him/herself.

SUBJECT
These abstract forms suggest that they are islands emerging from a red sea. Some clouds may be flying over.

DIMENSIONS and MATERIALS
Wooden triptych: 3 squares, each of them measures 20cm by 20 cm (7,9¨by 7,9¨).
The 3 squares can be presented separately.
When presented together, vertically or horizontally, the total lenght is 60 cm by 20cm (23,6¨by 7,9¨).

It is realized with acrylic paint and is varnished to protect it.


TECHNIQUE
Relief effects are made with a palet knife on a wet paint leaving a trace that evokes rocks or cliffs.
Several layers of translucent paint (glaze) gives a feeling of depth and colors with variations as oil painting.
The power of hot and cold reds radiates throughout the triptych.

FRAMING
They are not framed. They can simply be stuck in a floater frame.
