About The Artwork
I'm Meevi Choi. B. 1987, from Hong Kong. A vegetarian, a mother of three cats and a little girl, art teacher, painter & designer. One of the founders of 104 Arts Studio and TANA. This painting is called Tides which is one of the paintings in my【Universe Series】. Actually, I would name it a project about the universe and spiritism. I believed that we belongs to many parts of a “body”, therefore, the spirit of everything and the universe itself have a close relationship ...... I work with my Nature Painting becuase... I hope that with my freehand style of painting, I can influence people around me to reduce their inner distress. Practising meditation and vegetarianism is my way to be closer to the nature. Among my painting collection, many of them are related to nature in the world, portraying the beauty of the universe, in order to awaken the spirit inside our heart.
