36" x 60" abstract expressionistic painting consisting of acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas. Inspired by a the grande finale in a fireworks display, the colors, the shapes, the smokey haze. The painting has a rich, tactile surface with conspicuous ridges that accentuate the physicality of paint and markings. Colors are earth tones with undertones of navy blue and green.
