About The Artwork

This is part of a series of small experimental colour field studies. The work is meant to explore possible colour combinations for a future body of work to be produced in larger scale. I create the work using a repeated process of layering. Each painted layer is submerged underneath layers of clear gesso until the final colour and composition is successfully achieved.
