"I am everything I do not know and everything I have ever learned.I am intense, full of uncertainties. I am more than I imagine and much less than I believe. " Surrender. It is the perfect word to describe the Visual Arts in the life of the artist Fernanda Cristina. Since childhood, she has always been enchanted and interested in life and everything it represents - birth to death, success and failure, gain and loss and everything that surrounds it. Always very shy and curious, every discovery - often alone - fascinated her. Over time, she understood better what the visual arts were to her. During adolescence, perhaps by the height of the changes, his feelings and feelings were becoming clearer, originating in almost 40 painted pictures until the 18 years. Two years later, she entered the Interior Design course - which she did not identify - from a teacher she heard that there would be no way for the arts. And then, for the moment, she gave up - That teacher did not know that she was at the head of an artist and because she was very sensitive, she stayed until she was 30 without touching a brush if she wants to. Simply because of a negative opinion, she could not paint again, much less believe that she had a gift, even at the insistence of others. Years later, at age 28, she was taken by surprise with the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. And after a period of loss and transformation, the arts returned to life. She won a small screen as a gift and, without sketching any reaction, the joy and anguish she wanted to make happen in her heart returned. Even when she felt pain and all the physical and psychological effects of the disease at the time, Fernanda resumed painting-on that canvas she had won from her sister-and when she rubbed a paint on it, she felt a sense of If the act lessened all the problems he was facing. It brought strength and hope for the hard times. Fernanda is self-taught, everything she does she learned by herself and can transform her acquired knowledge into something very powerful. She has as reference for her works Abstract Expressionism, where she uses the dripping and action painting techniques to create them. These techniques were developed through much study and admiration for the work of American artist Jackson Pollock - which makes his paintings come to life, as he has, in addition, textures, shadows and light that go beyond what our eyes can actually see .
