Urban project 3 Painting

I have been fascinated by storefronts ever since I set my tiny baby eyes on one. The text fonts and graphic signs, the products, the colors, the characters, logos, language, culture and so on. I want to call store fronts a portraiture of someones product. I may not always want the product, but the storefront sets a precedence for me to be interested in it. It's kind of like falling in love at first glance, but keeping the mystery present by crafting it into an art work. Another one of those Korean multi business commercial buildings. I actually really like this one because of the accent on the roof. The Christian, European roof type structure gives this building a bit more character. Funnily enough, these types of western type pointy roof accents are actually quite common. Korea is a surprisingly Christian country, so when you next visit Korea, make sure you keep an eye out for glowing neon crosses. The glowing compass of western religion championing Asian shamanistic superstitions, and pointing our beloved Koreans into the direction of the almighty God, Money. (Was the sarcasm noticeable?)
