Jacopo Ginanneschi studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, city where he got in touch with the Italian tradition of the Renaissance and where he developed his own style. In his painting practice he experiences various techniques, mostly oil, gouache, egg tempera and watercolor. His work begins with the realization of sketches on paper, made with watercolor and gouache and always made from the real. These sketches are the first step towards the realization of his oil paintings made in studio. His work focuses mostly on landscape, both analysed in its details, reproducing carefully all the various elements and materials, and sublimated in order to reach, through the contemplation of nature, a sense of calmness, wonder and enlightenment.
