About The Artwork
“Uriel” is a 3D Tiffany stained glass where all the pieces of glass are painted. The frame is hand made of painted wood and a metallic structure, whose overall form suggests the Gate of Eden. This artwork is the result of my angels obsession (I used a lot of angels in my work). This angels help me to convey ideas and feelings by being so fantastic and “between two worlds” creatures. Uriel is the fourth archangel often identified as the angel of repentance who "stands at the Gate of Eden with a fiery sword", or as the angel who "watches over thunder and terror", or the pitiless archangel. At the same time, he is patron of the arts, the angel of poetry, regent of the sun, flame of God. I liked his dualism angel- demon because this is something that can be found in all of us
