About The Artwork

This artwork was inspired by the winds in Victoria - a small town in the Santa Fe province of Argentina. The bold colors and broadstrokes reflect the winds of a town undergoing modernization, building and growth. Porcelli uses a large canvas and captures the shifting effects of the wind in its natural element, yet abstracts it with a strong paintbrush that triumphs, comes and goes, slides, prolongs, and dematerialises the sea, the heat, the sky, the night, the ground, the water and anything in its path. This work drags us into the wind’s three-dimensional world of successive contorted planes and extensive superimposed strokes, reproducing an optical illusion that allows the spectator to transcend the piece. Series: VIENTOS Will be sent rolled inside a cardboard tube due to the large dimensions of the painting.
