Saatchi’s 2022 NFT launch with The Other Avatars featuring Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh. Here are twenty versions of Vincent Van Gogh imagined and created into stamps. He wrote hundreds of letters to his brother Theo and the stamps represent this special bond. Each one-of-a-kind art piece is handmade based off the NFT artwork - Mixed media: Acrylic paint, paper and resin on wood, Size is 12 “ x 12” x 1.5” each. Mary did not want to break up the set. She envisions the full set on an art collector’s wall that expands to 60” wide x 48” high. “While today Van Gogh is considered one of the most influential figures in Western art history, during his lifetime he saw relatively little commercial success. Mary Lai is a multifaceted Korean-American artist based in Los Angeles, California. With over 20 years of art and design experience, Lai has worked with several notable brands including W Hotel, HBO Max, Vayner x St. Jude, American Express, SXSW, NBA Lakers/InThePaint, Snapchat and more. She has exhibited at leading art fairs & galleries worldwide and continues to explore what it means to create and curate art with impact.
