Serhii Kulyk, born in Cherkasy, Ukraine, is a multifaceted artist involved in various creative endeavors. He has actively participated in art exhibitions in his native city and engaged in international archaeological research. Serhii is not only a sculptor and designer of jewelry and ceramics but has currently directed his focus exclusively towards painting, using it as a medium to express and share his thoughts through a diverse palette of colors. His initial exposure to the world of art came during his school days when he discovered a lack of interest in exact sciences and developed a profound fascination with art. This realization prompted him to become an artist, as he found a means to convey his thoughts onto paper. Over time, his unique thought processes and the ability to appreciate the intricacies of the beautiful world emerged. Being an artist, he believes, is an ongoing journey of constant development and reaching new levels of creativity. The central theme of Serhii's artworks revolves around life's various facets – encompassing different trends, movement, a spectrum of colors, and occasional madness. Another prominent aspect of his work explores the psychology of human relationships, symbiosis with the external world, and philosophical contemplations. In essence, his artworks delve into everything he constantly observes and analyzes in the world around him. Serhii Kulyk consciously avoids restricting himself to specific styles and techniques, as he believes that such limitations can impede individual development, ultimately making the artist monotonous. Instead, he actively seeks out mixed styles, a pursuit that consistently yields the desired creative outcomes. A guiding principle in Serhii's artistic journey is encapsulated in his favorite quote: "When I create, I live; when people appreciate my artworks, it motivates me to work more; and when my artworks are purchased, it opens the way to new projects." This sentiment captures the essence of his artistic philosophy and the symbiotic relationship between his creative process and the reception of his work by others.
