ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Part of the Charcoal collection, inspired by my surroundings, formed, natural and in nature. Organic in form, sometimes seeming porous, sometimes solid. Changeable in the light, charcoal used in medicine, art and especially to purify always on my mind when creating these pieces. This vista is one of three of the Charcoal collection its fluid in form and each texture glistens or shades dependant on the light in which you view it. The vista changing constantly with each moment and mood. The natural charcoal shades highlighted in part with slight white tones, a grey sculptural plain divides the rough texture of the landscape. I see the sea, grounded by the trees running into the sand. This triptych is a minimum of 47 inches wide but I recommend you hang it with at least 1 inch between each piece. So in total it will be approximately 50 inches wide. Canvas set gifted from a friend in 2019 created in 2022. Texture piece using acrylic, water based pigment and silicone. Ready to hang, delivered in box.

Artist and interior stylist creating art for homes, urban workspaces, and exhibitions. Unique statement pieces using different mediums including concrete, cement, acrylics, silicone, oils and sand. Diane originally from Manchester, the early Hacienda days, born in Hulme lived Charles Barry Crescent, brutalist blocks now demolished, loved those buildings and maybe that birthed my love of texture, concrete and appreciation of urbanisations with a soft edge. Moved to London trained as a interior decorator. With success in the design field, designing and manufacturing furniture and supplying art and sculpture for show flats and interiors. Living in the East End, influenced by the graffiti and the eclectic surroundings. Now in Malaga, Spain with my Jack Russell ‘Lulu' I'm inspired by my surroundings. Torremolinos is a wild mix of 70's, 80's 90's typography, people and buildings. Where I can I reuse canvases. Too often things are just thrown away without regard for the environment. Sustainability, mindfulness and being kind has become my norm. I also use my art in my room sets for my small interiors service at stylelister in Spain. Each piece is unique and some photos you see are digitally produced room sets to help you decide on your interiors. All pieces are for sale, some in prints, personal commissions welcome.
