About The Artwork
This new Queen is a warrior. However, she is not only beautiful, but also elegant, with a rich gold and red brocade dress. The large ruff collar links she to the past, to the western culture from which it derives,as the cross between the fingers also suggests. The tattoo on her arm brings us back to modernity. The colors chosen, the red and yellow of the dress are those of Renaissance painting, the black background on which the figurestands out refers to the photographic backdrops.

Titti Garelli was born in Turin, where she lives and works.For over twenty years her pictures have been requested by the publishing world and by major international advertising agencies.In 1990 she started exhibiting her works in art galleries in Italy and abroad. In 1993 she illustrated with lithographs (painted by hand with watercolours "Les Fables de La Fontaine" in the precious edition - numbered and signed in 75 copies - of the Great SAceries.
