Waiting for Painting

We love presents – only wrapped ones… We believe our desires are real... We affirm a truth by our lies… With our feelings we warm our soul, invisible and aerial, but heavy, that has so wings… Everything starts with an empty page, transforms into different colours and reality starts to appear… In mirror appears two variety and infinity… Vague questions show up… Wings vanish somewhere in the mountain… Along with the wings disappears the light… Appears the desire of shining again and in the mind’s eye starts with whiteness… Appears white space with a fake figure and blurry purity becomes inaccessible. You begin to search for the wings, vanished in the mountain, but this path just parts you from reality. The earth goes on with its endless rotation, and here the reality has frozen and turned into infinity. Heartbeat starts to hush up slowly… You see the earth beautifully wrapped from far away... Sofia Ivanidze was born on March 3, 1985 in Tbilisi; In 2007 she graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, faculty - fashion design. Since 2005 she has been working in fashion field, in 2008 Sofia founded own brand "Butsia Fialkov" and her clothes are selling both in Georgia and foreign countries. Sofia began painting when she was 3 years old and as for plasticine, she has been working since 2003. she was fond of painting and making miniature shoes from plasticine, which initiated her development as a designer. Presented paintings are made of plasticine.
