50x40x4cm Spray Foam | Spray Paint | Acrylic on Stretched Canvas Using the Spray Foam to represent the human rapid expansion in our life to create the unique texture for showing the Love & Peace in abstract way. You can see inside out of the painting, like the maze and our mind. Different angles showed different colour under the light. It's weird but you will fall into see what happen inside. Concept: Rapid expansionism is more fanatical than in the past. Social progress is only superficial but meaningless nowadays. We have lost enthusiasm and freedom for life. Everything is growing wildly and oppressed, pursuits of life are limited, like what you eat, entertainment, religion, thinking and behaviour, everything is at war. The limitation of life makes us ignored war. Under the contradictory social progress, war will not disappear at all, because human still existing. War exists because of you & I. We can’t leave, but only escape. Please forget ego and say goodbye to war.

Norris Yim, A Self-taught Painter B. 1989 Hong Kong Norris Yim is a self-taught artist filled with creativity and curiosity. Although he has never received formal art training, his love and persistence for art have gradually enabled him to establish his unique artistic style. His works mainly focus on abstract paintings, with his "Nameless" series of abstract portraits being the most renowned. In this series, he explores the subtle relationship between shape, color, and emotion, striving to express his inner feelings through visual language. He demonstrates a profound understanding of form, color, and materials. His creative process is full of exploration and reflection. He constantly experiments with different approaches, not limiting himself to representational or abstract creation. He places great emphasis on the use of materials and the exploration of texture. He employs a variety of media, such as paint, thickening agents, sand, and stones, allowing the interaction between materials and forms to enhance the tension and expressive power of his works, while also allowing the inherent characteristics of the materials to resonate with the artwork. At the same time, he often tries new techniques and creative methods, breaking through the boundaries of traditional art and displaying an infinite imagination for art. These works are not only a visual expression but also an extension of emotion, allowing viewers to experience an inner resonance while appreciating them. Looking ahead, he plans to constantly pursue innovation, challenge traditional creative approaches, and explore more possibilities. He believes that art is infinite, and every creative process is a new adventure. He looks forward to bringing more surprises and inspirations to the audience through his future works.
