I love wild Buffalo, they are more than a match for top predators and the defend themselves and their young with a herd instinct. I saw a video of water buffalo attacking a lion and the lion was losing the battle. I decided to paint the animal and use a spare frame to finish it. I hope you like it.

I started painting in 2019, am self taught and paint, everything and anything that takes my fancy. I often work during and sometimes all through the night when my Parkinson's 'shake' is less problematical but I still cannot sleep. Painting is the perfect occupation for insomniacs, quiet, very neighbour friendly, leaving those that can sleep, undisturbed! The process of painting is completely absorbing, and takes me into a timeless dimension where nothing matters. It is my great escape to another world.
