seascape Oil on canvas Wave. This is one of the paintings in the Volga series. The Volga is one of the largest rivers in Russia. We live on the banks of this beautiful river. But during the pandemic, it was not possible to go to the beach to enjoy its waters. And so, when the restrictions were relaxed, the first thing we did, of course, went to the water! To feel the breath of the wind, the fresh breeze and the cries of gulls. It was such a powerful and memorable impression for me that soon a series of mini-paintings called "Volga" was born. The small size of the canvas is the personification of how short the moment of presence near the water was, and how great the waters do not fit into the format of this small picture!
