ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting comes from "Italian style" collection which had it's premiere opening in November 2019. The whole collection contains almost 30 pieces and presents many different architectural details. Most of the collection has already found collectors around the world;) If you've ever traveled to my home country, for sure you've visited Kraków - which is one of the most beautiful cities around here. Wawel especially is the most famous spot in Poland. The painting itself shows my point of view (obviously:) of this famous spot. Kraków has an excellent vibe as a city and a wonderful architectural pieces. But all the painting you see from over there are quite "polite" and they try to imitate it as realistically as possible. I'm always trying to deconstruct the view a little bit - so it's one of a kind and unique in the gesture. Sides of the piece are painted as continuation of the front view - so it's not necessary to frame it. This collection was entirely made in 2019. Please don't hesitate to ask me any question!

I'm designing a conscious creative path with strong emotions, unique aesthetics and sensitivity to colour. INSPIRATION is everywhere. CREATIVITY is my spirit. ART is my life. In 2015 I defended thesis and project in the field of interdisciplinarity of arts: "Plane description of reality used in spatial design" obtaining a title PhD in Fine Arts. I'm a MFA in Architecture & Design Faculty (2008) and MFA in Painting faculty (2012) at the University of Arts in Poznan. I also work at the same University as a lecturer at Bionics Studio. Since may 2009 I'm a member of Dymlingen artist group in Jönköping, Sweden. In my paintings I like to combine architecture and graphic. I love creating canvases in different shapes - so they fit perfectly to the subject or object I'm working with. I paint mostly in oil and acrylic. I also enjoy working with structures in painting by adding more layers of different canvases.
