Weather Painting

Painted with a specific palette and part of the 'Earth' series. Earthy tones and atmospheric, a bleak and blustery walk along the Great British coastline. Dimensions 40cm x 40cm x 3cm Shipped day after purchase. All of my paintings are pre primed with Gesso and finished with appropriate glaze/varnish in either satin matt or gloss. The paintings in my gallery are inspired by my travels across the world and in particular The East Anglian Coastline and landscape. The inspiration for these works often starts from a memory or using a photograph as a reference point. From there on my aim is to capture the essence of the landscape, highlighting the different tonal and mood effects that light has on nature. I have always been fascinated and mesmerised by the ocean and the ever changing light on the landscape depending on the season. My aim is to create artworks that capture the awe-inspiring emotion that a dramatic landscape evokes. Every painting is made with great care only using high quality materials. Gallery wrapped. A varnish top coat is applied to protect from pollutants and offer UV filtering to ensure the longevity of the art. Paintings are signed on the front with signature, date and title on the back.
