About The Artwork
There is a very nice beach in Spain, the closer place to Africa, in Cádiz, where the wind mark the life. Some times is very strong from east (Levante) and sand is raised until hit you and other times is strong from the west (Poniente) provoking big waves. But most of days there is a lightly breeze. This days are extraordinaries by the special light and colors. I have painted many works about Zahara de los Atunes with this extraordinary colors, but I think I have been able to find beauty in the hardest days too, like in own my life.

After my career as a Graphic Designer, I approached painting as a more personal medium; portraits, familiar scenes and inhabited landscapes allowed me a new language. Currently I direct my interest towards Contemporary Art, its study and how to nurture my work with its knowledge. I go out towards the objects that surround us. They are alive and they are testimony of vital moments that belong to the collective of my generation. I enjoy the analysis and definition process prior to production. Then I immerse myself in a meeting place with my hands, papers, paints, markers…; work on the ground, paste, polish, rise to the vertical, doubt and experiment. Styles, techniques and materials crystallize in projects as heterodox as my search, with the precise objective of exploring my own discourse through the work process.
