About The Artwork

Wisteria is a mysterious plant. People say: if at least once you have the good fortune to see wisteria blooming, then it will never be forgotten ... In Japan, China and the countries of the East, wisteria symbolizes fragility, refinement, tenderness and purity, a huge layer of culture is associated with this beautiful vine. There are several legends the origin of this beautiful vine. Here are a few of them. According to an ancient Japanese legend, a goddess with a wisteria branch on her shoulder hovers in a glowing cloud above the volcano's crater, protecting the sacred mountain from filth. The name of this goddess means "The princess who makes the trees bloom and the nightingales sing sweetly." This Flower Diva can bestow the elixir of life on a person. Another Japanese legend tells of a girl of extraordinary beauty with blue-black hair, whose unearthly beauty even goddesses envied. And they could not forgive a girl of such beauty, and sent the guardian of heaven - the Dragon, to deal with her. The dragon regularly fulfilled the orders of the formidable goddesses, but after that he fell asleep near the rock and began to grow stiff, turning into a beautiful unearthly liana climbing a steep rock. He tried to burn everything around with a flame from his mouth, but from there, like a memory of the beauty's wondrous braids, only beautiful blue and purple flowers appeared. So wisteria was born. There is also a Chinese legend about the origin of wisteria, it is very ancient and intersects with the Japanese. Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl. When people looked at her face, they forgot about everything. Even more surprisingly beautiful were her long braids. During the day, in the sun, they shimmered with bright violet-lilac colors, and in the evenings a bluish-blue gentle glow emanated from them ... But one day the girl was kidnapped and torn to pieces by a dragon. And then retribution came: his body froze, turned into a vine and covered with bark. And when the dragon said goodbye to the sun, instead of a flame, beautiful purple-purple flowers appeared from the mouth. By the way, with all the beauty of the wisteria's wondrous vine, it will not be superfluous to find out that it is poisonous. Therefore, the bark and seeds must be kept out of the reach of children and pets. However, any poison is also a medicine. Phytoncides of wisteria, as a powerful antibiotic, inhibit the development of tubercle bacillus. They are so strong that insects die near the damaged branch. This is how this “delicate fragility” protects itself from pests.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."(The first Epistle of St. an. St. John The Evangelist) Art is the creator soul delight spilled on canvas, embodied in marble, paper, notes in the form, line, color, sound, word, movement and thousands of other creative expressions. This is awareness of Genesis, understanding of the soul creating the fabric of life .Works of art are true, pure symbols imprinted by the hand of the artist. They are characters of life, love, harmony and symmetry, sacred geometry of destiny. The world is ruled by symbols. And the true symbols express the divine harmony. If you're a creative person, the main energy that moves your hand is love, passion to cognition for the essence of things and phenomena. This is love and admiration, inspiration by the beauty of a landscape, character, object, myth or legend. The delight of my soul reflects the spiritual essence and symbolism of the Muse selected.Creativity is the destination of the soul incarnate in a person. We all are the co-creators of God, and everyone is an architect of his own life and world view. Convergence of matter and spirit, the ancient alchemy of human life are nothing else, but a splash of creative energy of spirit in matter. For me it is the music of my soul embodied in line and color, its trace through the time and space. Painting and sculpture are like my natural breath and my self expression. The motivation is simple - to live and create. An artist is the crystal, which stops the time in its purpose. An artist displays the Genesis, depicts the beauty and perfection of the moment. The artist perceives with his heart, not his eyes. An artist opens for the viewer the door to the wordlessness and guides to the pure original source of Life.Canvas is a material body, the image on the canvas is the artist soul cast.
