WHAT SHALL I WEAR TODAY? Painting

Gorgeously heavy texture on wrapped canvas. I am a self-taught artist who picked up my first brush at age 48. I had no idea where it would take me. I started because of LIFE happening, and I needed an outlet that could take me out of reality, if for only a short while, and be all my own. I've grown passionate about all kinds of media, and have to do SOMETHING daily, even if i really don't feel like it. Those pieces are the ones that sometimes come out way beyond anything I could imagine. It's fun to do. I continue to learn daily. Abstract, tangible texture, and COLOR are my favorites and I feel my best works. Art is so subjective, you can please, or displease, every person who views it, especially abstract. I enjoy observing the different reactions.
