When Man Ruled The World Painting

"Unleashed" Humanity is my inspiration. Through my work I am trying to capture the essence of human beings on canvas. Despite our differences, we all share the same humane characteristics. The common feature of all human beings is "the mind". Our main issues in life are all somehow concerning our minds. Everything we feel, perceive, or experience, is eventually translated into images in our minds. Through my art I try to capture those innermost & repressed images our subconscious is constantly sending us. This part of our mind, we are not fully aware of, has a huge influence on our existence. Our mind images that keep haunting us are the main cause of our desires, and so we suffer while seeking them in every life experience. In this series I am capturing moments in which all of that is about to be released; moments that come after restraining your true human nature & you are about to set it free…to unleash it. Finally letting loose all of those unchained, untied feelings that are the impact of the world on us. If this pure instinct & humane urge took over everything else, this world might be a much better place. I believe if I can bring those images to live on canvas, people will get to see what they usually don't see. They might connect with those images, because they have certainly felt them throughout their life. I am aiming to make an intense impact on people by making them see what they only feel. Being exposed to different aspects of life is very important to my work process. Because only by having a rich life I get the chance to experience the most intimate humane feelings that triggers images in my mind…those images are my ultimate source of inspiration. Another idea that inspires me a lot in my work is "Memories"; our most precious images that are all we're left up with at the end. Nature is a main inspiration of my technique. By observing it, I'm very tempted to capture its beauty through colors & knife strokes. I keep on adding many layers of colors till I am satisfied with the result; the outcome should feel like a piece from nature. Quick knife strokes & movement, chaos & noise can be clearly noticed in my work. That's because my aim is to express the most intimate & disturbed human feelings through my depictions. I begin with certain colors & end up with something completely different! Texture is a very important feature of my work. My paintings consist of many layers of colors & layers of energy too! While working I have no idea what the next step is, it just comes spontaneously. Each piece is genuinely capturing the essence of spontaneous phases of being I felt while working.
