While #2 Painting

I am a freelance artist specializing in figurative works represented using paint and print. I find inspiration in unusual and contrasting light and in trying to capture a feel or emotion through a look or expression. I paint using oils in a predominantly realistic style whilst drawing and printing in a more linear and stylised fashion. Many of my line drawings and prints are created using continuous line and drawn blind, creating a slightly abstracted image. More recently I have transferred some of my drawings and paintings into giclee prints and included some newer drawings of characterful dogs. The majority of my artistic career has been centred around portrait commission painting which I still undertake on request.
