Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Ink, Marker, Pastel on Canvas.

Superstition Mountain in Arizona was an incredible place for this artist to hike and on this adventure snow was noticed on the mountains there in Mesa. This being a rare occurrence the artist felt the desire to create an abstract piece with the memory in mind. Darlene has used ink, pen, marker with acrylics as she imagined and remembered jumping over the water run off on the trails of the mountain. That is certainly something you don't see very often in the desert. Darlene creates from her imagination and the world around her so it is no wonder she brought some of Arizona back with her.
