ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The botanical mosaic is made using the opus tasselatum technique, which was used by Ancient Greek and Roman craftsmen. It is a magic combination of antique and modern still life. All modules of natural marble are hand-picked by me. The mosaic is mounted on a mdf board. If you wish, you can remove it and arrange it in a different way, for example, in a frame. Mosaic art is packed in a woodbox.

I am a freelance mosaic artist. In the beginning I studied mosaic technique myself and experimented a lot.Then I studied on online and offline courses. I mastered the ancient Roman technique and modern technique, working with glass and volumetric objects. Off all the materials that can be used in mosaic, my favorite is natural stone and marble.Now and for more than ten years I have been making mosaics combining antique techniques and modern subjects. The botanical theme is one of my lovely. Maybe becase I live in a city located in the middle of the multigrass steppe. WildHerbs and flowers are everywhere here. The combination of brutal stone and delicate botanical forms are magical. And What do you think?
