Born: Ukraine Lives and works: Barcelona, Spain Education: Cherkasy Arts College, Cherkasy National University(art) Tetiana Cherevan is an international artist actively participating in exhibitions worldwide, including Europe, Asia, and North America. She works in painting, graphics, and sculpture, experimenting with oil, acrylics, iridescent pigments, textures, and gold leaf. Her practice is centered on ArtAboutBody—the exploration of the human body as a space of freedom, sensitivity, and transformation. The central motif of her art is the woman, both as a symbol and as an individual. Cherevan paints contemporary women, addressing themes of femininity, sexuality, orientation, and the psychology of desire. Her works challenge cultural stereotypes and question the boundaries between what is considered “normal” and what has been seen as forbidden. Through refined lines, ornamentation, and luminous accents, she merges bodies with patterns, expressing fragility and strength, intimacy and universality. Her paintings are not only aesthetic forms but also tools for reflection, opening a dialogue about human experience and freedom.
