Wildflowers Painting

I was born on May 14, 1974 in the old and very beautiful city of Riga in Latvia. Though I have been living in Kyiv my whole adult life. I currently live in Berlin Germany. I began to receive my art education when I was a child – I graduated from a painting and drawing studio, and then from the School of Design in Kyiv. I am a participant of numerous personal and group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, a member of UAFRA (Ukrainian Association for Feminine Research in Arts). Several of my paintings were purchased by the German MAUERMUSEUM - Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin, for its foundation. Also my paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Canada, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, UAE, the UK and the USA. In my paintings I explore the interaction of color and compositional solutions on the canvas. And in mixed media paintings, I depict a vision of my subconscious reflection of the surrounding world and its problems. My collages are a symbiosis of painting, graphics with appliqué, based on a subtle sense of composition and color. Each collage has its own dominant around which the story is created. When creating new compilations, I share my experience, my worldview, and sometimes my dreams. I am a visual artist, fashion designer, mixed-media artist, painter and I am known for my daring use of color and unconventional apparel. In my artworks I use acrylic on canvas, texture paste, paper, vintage photos, photos from fashion magazines, sometimes fabric. In my artworks - paintings and mixed media, there are burlesque and absurdity, everyday and unconventional, feminine tenderness and brutal cruelty. My optimistic philosophy, which encourages the viewer to accept the full range of emotions and states of our life, serves as the connecting link of the harmonious chain of works.
