ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Pueblo Edén, as many other spots on Earth can be quite windy. These beautiful rolling hills host many curious creatures who enjoy the landscape as much (or more) than I do. Donkeys care for sheep and protect them from wild animals. One can almost hear the loud and jarring bray they make if anyone comes close to them. In this painting, the donkeys have guided part of the flock of sheep to safety under some trees, and they have come back for the rest of them who have been distracted by nibbling on the delicious green grass. They will all be safe and ride the Windy day together.

Sabina has been influenced by Henri Rousseau, Caleb Ives Bach, Marrnyula Munungurr, Mulkun Wirrpanda, and Francisco Toledo. She treasures early American folk art, Pre-columbian, Aboriginal Australian, and Native American art.
