About The Artwork

Reindeer Belarusian folk tale Lived grandparents. And they had a daughter, Olenko. But none of the neighbors called her name, and everyone was a hives. - He, - they say, - The hives led the Owl to graze. - He followed the mushrooms with Lisk. Only Olenka hears: Tart and Tortoise ... She came home from the street once and complained to her mother: - What is it, mother, nobody calls me by name? The mother sighed and said, - Because you, my daughter, we have one: you have no brothers or sisters. You grow like a nettle under a fence. - Where are my brothers and sisters? “Your sisters,” the mother says, “no, that's true, but there were three brothers. - Where are they, mother? - Who knows them. As you were still swayed in the cradle, they went with the fiery serpents - the Smokies - to fight, to get themselves and the people happiness. That's not since they came back ... - Mom, so I will go looking for them, I do not want to be called a hives! And as her father and his mother did not refuse, they could do nothing. Then the mother says, - One I will not let you go: you still had for such a road. Harness the Owl and go. Our old and clever old man - he will bring you to the brethren. Yes, look, stay nowhere for the night: go day and night until you find your brothers. Harnessed Olenka Sivka, took bread on the road and left. She left the village, she sees - their old dog Liska is running after a cart. Olena wanted to chase her back, and changed her mind: let her say she was running - it would be more fun on the road. She rides clear fields, rides dark hogs. Arrived at dusk in the thickets of the forest. He sees - standing in the forest near the road of the lodge. Only Olenka approached the house as a humpback, bony old man with a long nose ran out from there. It was an evil witch. She stops Olena and tells her: - Where are you, stupid, looking at night for the night. The wolves will eat you here! Stay with me for the night, and tomorrow you will see, and you will go. Barabakh Olenka's witch asked where she was going. Olenka told her everything. The witch jumped with joy and jumped: Olenka, brothers, she thinks, probably the same rich people who have spent all her relatives from the light. Now she will deal with them ... In the morning, a witch rose, dressed as a fair, Olenka hid her clothes and wakes her up: - Get up, let's go find the brothers! Olenka got up, look - no clothes ... - How am I going to go? - Olenka says. An old beggar lakh brought her a witch. - On, - he says, - you will be good and such clothes. Dressed Olena, went to harness the Owl. She took a witch knife and a pestle, sat in the cart like a lady, and put Olenka in place of a curler. All night they rode through a dark forest on the right road. In the morning, they went out into the meadow, they see - there is a silk tent in front of them, and three grasshoppers are grazing nearby. Sivko laughed cheerfully and drove Olena with the witch straight to the tent. Olenka is happy: - Here, apparently, my brothers live! And the witch on the pyrrha ter: - You better be silent. Not your brothers live here, but mine! We drove up to the tent. From there come three slender guy-young man - all on one face, voice for voice, hair for hair. The witch jumped out of the cart and to them: - How, brothers, how are you doing? And I traveled all over the world, looking for you all ... - So you are our younger sister? - Ask the rich brothers. "Yes, yes," says the witch, "your sister ..." They rushed to take her and let her kiss, kiss, throw her hands. Already so glad-happy that not to tell. - Look, - they wonder - how long we have been at war: during this time the sister not only grew, but also got old ... - Well, nothing: all the enemies we have killed, only one witch remains. When we find her, we will burn her, and then we will go home. The witch heard this and just smiled: let's see, who else said who to burn! .. - And what, my sister, did the girl come with you? - Elder brother asks. - Yes, this is my least, - replies the witch. - She rides on my curly and grazes my mare. "All right," the brothers say, "she and our horses will graze." The witch returned, shouting in a stern voice, Olenka: - Why are you sitting? Harvest1 Hive and feed! Olenka cried, and she began to squirm. And the brothers took the witch in their arms, carried them into the tent, began to eat and treat them. She eats a witch, drinks and herself thinks: "As they go to sleep, I will kill them all ..." And Elena, meanwhile, sits on the meadow by the horses and sings, crying about her fate and about the dog Lisk. The younger brother came out of the tent and listened. - You know, sister, you know, brothers, is this a bird in the meadow chirping, or is it a girl singing. But so sad that it is enough for the heart. - This is my hottest, - says the witch. - She is cunning at all inventions, but only to work lazily. Then the middle brother came out to listen, though the witch did not let him. He listened to Elena's sad song. The middle brother returned and tells the older one - Go and you listen. The older brother left, and the middle one looks at the witch. The older brother listened to the song and guessed everything. He then ran to Elena, grabbed her in his arms and brought him to the tent. "That's who," he says to the brothers, "our real sister!" And this is a witch deceiver! They had taken a large bonfire and burned a witch on it, and dispersed the ashes in a clear field, so that it would not be spirit. And then they turned the silk tent and went happy with Elena to her mother-father.

I was born in the village Nahoryany, near Dubno, Ukraine. Live in Dubno all my life. .I work in different styles and genres using oil and aquarelle paints, gouache, and also make graphics. Mostly my works are book illustrations. How do i draw my drawings? I make grimaces near the mirror when looking for a needed emotion. I love silence. Like working in the night when the city is asleep. I strive to create expressive images, convey emotions, human behavior. Also I love and paint nature: landscapes, flowers. It is important for me to know that one can find interest in my works, so that I would know my work was not in vain.
