Wizard, 2019 Acrylic on Canvas Part of Unicorn Valley collection. This work is made in the traditions of supremacism and minimalism, it reflects my vision of ​​a wizard, which was inspired mainly by the character of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit sagas- the wizard Gandalf. Kind and powerful, wise and understanding, he respects all living beings, but he also has its dark sides, although he is a magician, he is still a human. I paid much attention to colors, the texture is present here too, but there is not much of ir, since I did not want to distract the viewer's attention from the combination of colors and from the play of simple geometric shapes. Unicorn Valley is a series of paintings of imaginary creatures. Unicorns, wizards, mermaids - they all were invented in pursuit of the illusion of "perfect perfection." This Collection is devoted to the ephemerality of the concept of perfection, which is not achievable. In our reality, perfection is replaced by the illusion - to seem, not to be - that is what we often see in the mass media and in social networks. Watching this every day, people get involved in this game, strive for an artificial imposed image of "perfect" beauty and "successful success," without noticing how beautiful they themselves are. I would like people to learn to love themselves and others as they are, here and now, we are all unicorns, mermaids and wizards, if we just believe in it and if we are honest and open, especially with ourselves.
