About The Artwork

Only flowers could compare with women's beauty. This is my most recent artwork of the series of flowers named "Woman". The other 22 paintings are sold. This is the only one available at this time. My original inspiration came from Georgia O'Keeffe florals. I mix realism with abstract geometry, changing the perception of we think we know. As Magritte said, "This is not a pipe", this is not a flower, it's a beautiful woman! Some art critics associate this body of works with cubism, and I'm open to opinions, but I see it as a transgression and a touch of violence related to sex and gender. It's a deep conceptual viewpoint, but I'm sure some people could feel the meaning behind the daily banality of pop culture and life.
