Immerse yourself in the vibrant fusion of nature and culture with "Yellow Chrysanthemum," a captivating watercolor painting from the series “Floral Heritage: Portugal in Bloom.” This artwork features a radiant yellow chrysanthemum, meticulously rendered with lifelike detail, set against a background of soft blue shades that subtly mimic the intricate patterns of traditional Portuguese ceramic tiles. Details: - Medium: Watercolor - Material: 300 g cotton Arches watercolor paper - Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm (Horizontal) - Style: Realsm, Floral Art, Cultural Art - Color Palette:* Yellow chrysanthemum, blue shades background This piece exemplifies the delicate interplay of natural beauty and cultural heritage, celebrating the botanical richness of Portugal. The yellow chrysanthemum, a symbol of joy and longevity, is portrayed with professional-grade watercolors that ensure lasting vibrancy and depth. The soft blue background, inspired by traditional azulejo tiles, adds a touch of historical elegance without overwhelming the floral subject. Unframed: The painting is sold unframed, offering you the flexibility to choose a frame that best complements your decor. It will be shipped rolled in a tube to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, ready to be framed and displayed in your home or office. Series Context: This painting is part of the “Floral Heritage: Portugal in Bloom” series, which aims to highlight the most commonly grown flowers in Portugal against the subtle, cultural backdrop of azulejo-inspired designs. Each piece in this series is an homage to the natural and historical beauty that defines Portuguese landscapes. Through this series, I seek to evoke a sense of appreciation for the unique blend of Portugal's natural and cultural heritage. The realistic portrayal of flowers juxtaposed with hints of traditional tile patterns creates a harmonious blend of past and present, nature and art.

I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine but currently live in Lisbon, Portugal. I have been fascinated by drawing and painting since my childhood. There was quite a long break in my artistic carrier. I've practiced law for more then 20 years, worked as diplomat in foreign missions. But relocation to Portugal in 2022 and the beautiful nature of this country inspired me to pick up my brushes and paints and start to create! I am a watercolor artist. My art is multifaceted and diverse. I used to live in various countries and is now traveling a lot, always studying other cultures and exploring the nature in different parts of the world: US, Europe, Australia, Asia Pacific. Now I create both realistic and abstract pieces of art, my works varies in colors and their deepness.
