Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Ink and Pastel on Canvas.

The view of York Minster is from standing on the York City Walls. The current building was finished in 1472 and is the largest in Europe, earlier versions date back as far as 637AD.
The colours are inspired by the fading daylight and the cold damp air. Looking at it makes me feel peaceful and helps me wind down, I hope it has the same effect for you.
