ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this artwork I collaborated with my nephews. I gave them brushes and colors and told them to go crazy! They had a blast. I saw my job as making all of their marks and doodles into one cohesive painting. I enhanced all of the shapes and images that they created, All the while I made sure to stay true to their vision and try not to oppose my style and ideas on the painting. In this way I challenged myself to approach painting in a completely new way. I saw this as a way to connect to family and also to educate through art. I hope you like the result.
