About The Artwork

Size: 70 x 90 x 4 cm / 27,56 x 35,43 x 1,57 in MATERIALS: Canvas, paper, glues, resin, painting, dust. It comes framed. READY TO HANG. --- Intense Colours, photo intervention, new media canvas, fine art print, photography, original artwork, wall hanging. Wall art piece manually processed. Original photo work made in SINGLE PIECE. Handmade in Armenia by Italian contemporary artist Enzo Comin. All of my pieces are hand-signed and dated on the back. A certification is enclosed. For Modern and Contemporary decor. From the series “CANT_IERI PROJECT IN YEREVAN” This piece was made during my stay in Yerevan, Armenia, where I was invited to put in concrete form a project discussing the current “modernization” of the city. The old photos I used to create this work were the result of my new relationships in this wonderful country. Then, I have scanned them, digitally processed, printed on paper and eventually worked directly on paper with the brush. All the series was shown at “Union of Architect on Armenia”. The dismantling and re-mounting of the images is the core of my poetical research and of the aesthetic vision I want to transmit. I create outlandish depictions of everyday life starting from photos that come to me by chance. These images offer emotions and expressions that reflect my inner world or at times mirror society events. Viewed in its entirety, my response to a society in tumult aims to show a new vision or a new world that is easy to guess just below a thin coat of reality. The photo was printed on standard paper sheets, fixed on a durable canvas, framed. Hence, I have continued the intervention on the image with the usual painter stuff. The final result is a unique and elegant piece. You’ll receive it framed, READY TO HANG. Thanks for considering my work. ACHIEVEMENTS: - I was invited at “Les Boutographies”, Montpellier (F), one of the most important festival for the young photography in Europe to show my series OVERCOAT. - Represented by art galleries in Italy and abroad, also by taking part in art fairs in Paris and London. - I took part in festivals and public talks to share my works deeper. - Several art magazines regularly publish my images and texts. - As visual artist I won prizes, bursaries and I was selected in several art residencies. - Several collectors and art lovers regularly purchase my pieces or commission me new ones. - My collateral works as performer were involved in several stages in Italy and abroad; in 2013 at the MOMA in New York. - My collateral works as writer won prizes and publications.
