About The Artwork

Size: 140 cm W x 100 cm H x 4 cm deep. 55,11 in W x 39,37 in H x 1,50 in deep. I was inspired by the song text "Father and Son" written and performed by English singer-songwriter Cat Stevens on his 1970 album Tea for the Tillerman. The song frames a heartbreaking exchange between a father not understanding a son's desire to break away and shape a new life, and the son who cannot really explain himself but knows that it is time for him to seek his own destiny. "find your home" is about our inner feeling. Home is confidence, trust, hope and love. Find your home is sprayed and handwritten. Birds represent having wings of possibilities, freedom of flight, precision and perspektive, vision and individuality. This expressive artwork is painted on high quality canvas. It is ready to hang, edges are painted. The signature is on the right front. You will receive a signed certificate of authenticity. You will love the energy of this painting. A large statement piece for your home or your office! For commission artwork please contact the Saatchi curator team.

I have taken a clear desicion : To create art, for me, is power and confidence. My paintings should be a carrier of hope. How does an artist handle the unpleasantness the world sometimes brings? Showing it is one possibility or making it even more unpleasant than it is. Instead, I decided to show beauty and hope. My latest series "home" is talking about hope, trust, confidence, feeling home. Birds are symbolizing freedom and perspective. Start travelling through my abstract paintings. There is a lot to discover! I am working and living in Germany and in wintertime in my studio in Spain.
