ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A colour palette of more vibrant, richer hues and contrasting tones, this work transforms the space it occupies, creating ambience within the rooms it hangs. Inspired by my own natural surroundings, I embraces the simplicity of the world I inhabit and find the beauty in things that are slightly undone, the perfect imperfections. My paintings are mostly large-scale, but here I am producing a series of small works - working within the constraints of Lockdown. My artworks purpose is not to dominate; but to make their audience feel a sense of warmth and comfort in their presence.
