i13 (painting 13 of 13 in panel mural set). In hindsight, this looks like an old war movie action scene. About the art: Learned that a dear person to me was about to die after a long struggle. Had gotten new art materials, and wanted to try them. Could not maintain focus. This body of work is testament to my mindset. The numeric order listed is only the order I recorded them in. They all happened at once. It was automatic and no planning happened. I only used primary colors of ink, and black.There is some attempt at white paint, but only as the very final step. I'm certain that there are many ways that this work could be interpreted. It is chock full of psychological distress upon reflection. I feel that they work strongly as a set. All pieces formed at the same time, in the same moments, in the same manner. This collection is a gut-wrenching display of the artist's sadness. It is a farewell visually processing. Moving along, I find this is a strong exciter of pareidolia. Each panel is littered with ghosts and grotesque forms. There are a total of (5) 8x10" canvases, (3) 8x10" canvas panels, and (5) 5x7" canvas panels. The wet media is ink, with the outermost layer being some white house-paint. Sealed using a protective clear coat. Would like to sell as a full set for cathartic purposes (and they were created as siblings). Am willing to sell individually however.
