ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Now as a spirit I must cross the summer fields" It was with this Hai-Kai that the brilliant Japanese artist Katsuhika Hokusai, in his 89 years of life, left works that are still impressive and timeless, and the visual essay that I most appreciate is "The 36 Views of Mount Fuji". I figured, natural icon by artificial icon, if we Westerners don't also mind our own perspectives, where in my special case I elected the splendorous Van Allen design where eventually I will execute my version as "The 9 Views of the Chrysler Building" in this investigation which I called "icoNYC". The most portentous icon of the ArtDeco Style in terms of Urban Architecture, it is a skyscraper embedded in Manhattan, the most exuberant and noble that I can conceive, in a semiotic with depths that are increasingly necessary in a world heading uncontrollably towards a Deleterious Entropy . "icoNYC" is my most recent aesthetic-cultural investigation of Contemporaneities, where I will execute 9 canvases approaching the New York City as a faithful and proud depositary of the riches of the world that transforms at speeds that we barely keep up with without surprises...

ART FOR ME is Time, Rhythm, Tone & Space, just like its beloved cousin Music. When they realized that: ͇"͇A͇n͇ ͇I͇m͇a͇g͇e͇ ͇i͇s͇ ͇W͇o͇r͇t͇h͇ ͇a͇ ͇T͇h͇o͇u͇s͇a͇n͇d͇ ͇W͇o͇r͇d͇s͇"͇ ... this demonstrates that the Figure carries an absolute synthesis and less than a Simplifying Entropy, it is much more the Sublimation of a Thought by the Artist's Will. This, in turn, brings to the world of Visual Arts his works based on ideas, not always or only Emotional, since a finished canvas is an intellectual work and, as such, does not admit misunderstandings: --->>> ART REQUIRES PRESENCE <<<--- It is up to the admirer to appreciate it in unique, singular, non-transferable personal depths, if we observe correctly, true privileges of Existence. For this reason, the Artist's Vision often touches deep in the soul of the one who contemplates it, in the same way that a musician plays his instrument with mastery, dedication, interest and love. By doing so, you yourself become -somewhat- an Artist with yourself once you contemplate Art with your Intelligence, Feelings, Sensations, Presence, Visions & Insights, well before Emotions. I offer what I know and what I love the most. But only you know what's good. I TRUST YOU. : :
