About The Artwork

After 3 days filming at Pinewood Studios in England, the Iceman was more or less edited out of the film "Funny Bones"-full of proper film-stars! (like Jerry Lewis) [this in keeping with the Iceman's philosophy of failure begetting success!] This painting marks the Iceman's 'fleeting' appearance in the film (0.111 secs) with his Ice-Block. The grey/white presentation encapsulates the Iceman's world where art takes place in spite of 'Show Business!' There is a feeling of poignant determination and a sense of a different sphere on the film set.The simplicity of the content- the man and his block- hides a wealth of complexity beneath -like an Iceberg!

"The Iceman" [performance artist?] melted many ice-blocks in public-quite entertaining? He now produces paintings, mainly based on memories of those "live" blocks [under the name, 'aim']. The concept is that the now evaporated blocks 'live on' in a different form. The theme is repetitive but the interpretation is wide-ranging.
