The pictorial research focuses on places of memory. For places of memory shall mean the places that have been part of a person's life through memories, feelings or sensations. The subjects are cityscapes, represented anonymously, without the details related to specific locations. Precisely the lack of detail makes the subject recognizable to the viewer, which can be confused with a place already seen or known. Landscapes do not exist and have no value, but I assume when they become places of memory through the eyes of the observer. Also portraits have been represented anonymously. They are fictional characters with trivial physical features. Precisely the absence of details makes the subject of the work recognizable to the viewer.
